DISPOSABLE HEROES LIVE IN THE ZONE
Well, it's been an eventful year 2006, and to cap it off Disposable Heroes played to another sold out crowd in Red Deer Ab at the Zone. This was one amazing show, the guys played with a TON of energy and the crowd were great! Always nice to hear almost every song being sang as loudly by the crowd as by the band! The guys had a blast at this one and it showed with several songs being added on the fly to the already packed setlist. A couple of highlights from this one included Nothing Else Matters being played by the boys for the first time a long time and an encore performance of the landmark instrumental Orion.
The boys are taking a break over the holidays but look for more shows to be announced real soon. See you in 2007!!!

DISPOSABLE HEROES GO BACK TO SCHOOL IN CALGARY
This show was at a very cool venue on the SAIT (Southern Alberta Institute of Technology) campus in Calgary Ab. and the show was yet another that won't soon be forgotten. The large (and very loud) Calgary crowd were treated to the DH boys playing the entire Master of Puppets album for the last time this year before taking a break for Christmas. As always, hearing the classic album played start to finish is the highlight of any show.

DISPOSABLE HEROES BLOW UP AT SCOTCH CREEK
The Disposable Heroes boys definitely had some pent up energy for this one and it resulted in one very memorable show! Original DH bass player Neil Ross filled in for this one and it was cool too see him back with the band. Once again, the sell out crowd were treated to the entire Master of Puppets album played in the order that the songs appeared on the album.

DISPOSABLE HEROES AT THE ROXY
Well, if you were one of the lucky ones who were in attendance at either of the two sold out shows at The Roxy in Saskatoon Saskatchewan, you were treated to an amazing performance from DH. Both shows were packed with amazing songs, including the Call of Ktulu, played for the first time live by the guys. Filling in on bass guitar for this one was R.J. Killinger, the four string master from the bands One Nine Hundred and the Iron Maiden tribute Edward the Great. This guy played his ass off and the guys want to say a big Thank You to R.J.
The crowd on both nights were beyond loud and sang along to every song. Once again, the boys played the entire Master of Puppets album, all the songs as they appeared on the classic disc.
Bottom line, these two shows were incredible. Look for the band to be back in Saskatchewan in the not too distant future. Also, there are some major show announcements coming your way soon so keep checking the website for updates.

DISPOSABLE HEROES PLAY TWO SHOWS AT DAWSON CREEK
No, not the T.V. show friends, but the D.H. boys did bring some metal to our friends up in the northern B.C. city of Dawson Creek. Not one but two full nights of music for our new friends up north. Despite some technical difficulties Friday's performance was blistering and once again the guys played the entire Master of Puppets album, in its proper order, on the Saturday night (something our 'Tallica friends have been doing of late as well). If it was possible, hearing D.H. play Puppets this time was even better than the first time they played the album on May 19/06 to our friends in Red Deer Ab.
These were two amazing shows and the D.H. boys had a blast playing to a bunch of new friends. Look for the band to play another show in the area later in the year.

DISPOSABLE HEROES LIVE AT THE ZONE, RED DEER AB
Disposable Heroes rolled into Red Deer and treated the crowd with something very special. Commemorating the 20th anniversary of the landmark Master of Puppets album release, the guys blasted through all 8 classic songs to start the show off. It was a very cool thing to hear the songs played in the order they appeared on the album and it showed what an amazing album Master of Puppets really is.
If that wasn't enough, the guys blasted the crowd with 12 more tunes, old and new, to leave all in attendance with great big smiles on their faces.
Highlights on the night were The Thing That Should Not Be, Orion, and Helpless.
This was certainly a special show and the large crowd at the Zone won't soon forget this one.
Check out a clip of the band performing The Thing That Should Not Be.
Up next, Dawson Creek B.C., June 2 and 3rd.
