Formed in 2003, Disposable Heroes is the Ultimate Metallica tribute band in the world today. Metallica is the most successful heavy metal band of all time and Disposable Heroes brings them to life in a stage show that has to be seen to be believed. The band comprised of Ryan Ziegler (Lead Vocal, Guitar), Nelson Cristobal (Guitar, Backing Vocals), Josiah Gibson (Drums) and Steve Legault (Bass, Backing Vocals), painstakingly recreates both the look and sound of ALL eras of Metallica's long history. Metallica is well known as one the best live acts ever and Disposable Heroes lives up to this legacy in every way.


Through Disposable Heroes amazing musicianship, staging and sound, the Metallica live experience is duplicated with jaw dropping results. Disposable Heroes are dedicated to bringing Metallica's music to fans around the world.

DH in Edmonton

It had been WAAAY too long since we played to our amazing friends in Edmonton, Ab! The shows here have always been epic. Edmonton truly has some of the best music fans in the world and they sold out the Pure Casino Yellowhead for this one.

The guys definitely fed off the energy of the crowd for a set that included the entire Black Album, played for the 3rd time. Those in attendance brought their screaming voices with them!

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2024!!!

Happy New Year, friends!!! 2024 is going to be a great year and we're excited to say we'll be out to see as many of you as possible VERY soon! Starting in Langdon, Alberta at the renowned Firehouse Bar & Grill on February 24th and continuing on with shows in Edmonton, Lloydminster, Regina, Saskatoon, Red Deer & more. WE'RE BAAAACK!!!

We're baaaack!!! Well friends, Disposable Heroes have been doing this a long time. 20 years!!! It's been a honour and a privilege to bring this amazing music to you for all that time... but we're just getting started.

Over the last while there have been a few bands out there calling themselves the 'best'. That's cool. We think it's great there are bands playing this music we all love for all you great Met fans out there. However, we've been at this a long time and aren't ready to give up the throne just yet

On that note, we're planning a BIG tour all over North America starting in the next few months. Stay tuned here for info on dates, we will see you out there!!!

DH to play Edmonton, June 30th, 2023

Hello, friends!!! It's been waaaaaay too long, again! Disposable Heroes are very pleased to announce that we will be playing in Edmonton, Alberta as a part of the Blues on Whyte festival, Friday June 30th. Join us at The Commercial on June 30th and July 1st, 2023, for an unforgettable musical extravaganza! Experience the 11th annual block party, featuring a lineup of Western Canada's elite powerhouse bands. Day 1 pays tribute to the Rock and Roll Hall of Famers, with Canada's finest tribute bands rocking the stage. Get ready to rock out to the music of Guns n Roses, Van Halen, and Metallica, performed by The Nightrain from Saskatoon, Fair Warning from Vancouver, and Disposable Heroes from Calgary. On Day 2, prepare for a night of high-energy funk, soul, and R&B, as Vancouver's own Five Alarm Funk takes the stage, along with special guests and the best that Edmonton has to offer, The Superband and Uptown. IT'S ALIVE!!! DISPOSABLE HEROES TO PLAY NEW SHOWS STARTING IN APRIL, 2022

Hello, friends!!! It's been waaaaaay too long! Disposable Heroes are very pleased to announce that we will once again be hitting the stage for shows in April of 22. The first show will be April 22nd at The Bunker in Edmonton, Alberta. The second show will be the following night in Drayton Valley, Alberta at the Max Center. More shows are in the process of being put together so stay tuned!
